Athena is the Greek Goddess of wisdom, handicraft and warfare. She was regarded as the patron and protectress of various cities across Greece. Since mythological times, she has defended the peace and love of the earth, aided by her loyal protectors, the Saints.
Chronology
Being one of the 12 mighty gods of Olympus and daughter of Zeus, Athena was given the earth as her realm to defend from evil forces that would seek its destruction. During her quest to defend earth, she was protected by a group of young men, each protected by one of the 88 constellations in the sky. Wielding power to split the skies and shatter the earth beneath their feet, these warriors were known as Saints, and wore Cloths based on their constellations.
Due to her nature, Athena dislikes any form of weapons used in combat, henceforth the Saints' use of their fists in battle. However, Athena has given the Libra Saint the permission to distribute these weapons if the situation call for them to be used.
